GANGTOK, NOVEMBER 10: Appealing to cast more votes for the singing talent
Deepraj Rai who has reached the final of the television reality show ‘India’s
Got Talent” a DeepRaj Fan club was formed in Gangtok today.
“The
club will proactively appeal and mobilize for the mass voting campaign for
Deepraj through every possible means” said the convener of the club ThuckChuk
Lachungpa while addressing the press conference today afternoon.
Lachungpa
said that it is once again a time to show the unity and come forward in
supporting the singing talent.
11
years old Deepraj is one of the finalists in the popular reality show telecast
in Colors Channel.
The
club has also decided to set up a voting camp at MG Marg.
“We
have received the information that the voting will open from November 17 (10
pm) to November 18 (10am). We will set up a voting booth in MG Marg to make
Deepraj win” added Lachungpa.
The
Press Club of Sikkim General Secretary Joseph Lepcha said that the club members
would play Dewsi during Tihar to support Deepraj.
“PCS
members shall play Dewsi in Diwali and the money collected shall be spent on
voting Deepraj” said Lepcha.
The
fan club has also appealed all the members of the association, clubs, NGos and
others to attend the meeting to be held at new Yama building on Sunday morning
(10 am).
“We
need the tremendous support from all the sections of the society to make
Deepraj win the competition” appealed the mother Bindu Rai.
Namrata
Gurung and Doma Sherpa, the teachers of Prashanti Vidya Mandir ( the school of
Deepraj) has also appealed for the voting.
