Laptops for meritorious Class X students, Laptops for Class XI and XII students: Sanctioned
Chief Minister also announced laptop to students who secure above 60
percent in Class X board examinations. Students of Class XI and XII will
also... be provided with a laptop each to make them computer friendly.
A monthly stipend of Rs. 8,000 would be provided to students going for higher studies, said Chamling also announcing a rural tourism school will be set up soon in Sikkim. It will be the first of its kind school in the country and it will be imparting education on aspects of tourism to the youths of Sikkim.
