SMTWA chips in Rs 24, 505 for 9-year-old’s treatment

GANGTOK, June 30: Sikkim Motor Transport Workers Association (SMTWA), Singtam has contributed Rs 24, 505 towards the treatment of a nine-year-old Anil Subba, who has been admitted in STNM Hospital with Tuberculosis Meningitis.
Few days back, Anil, hailing from Kabi in North Sikkim was taken for further treatment to aneurologist in Siliguri after many of his well-wishers contributed financial aid.
The SMTWA president Tinku Adhikari handed over the financial aid to the Singtam based Spark NGO, patron, Mohan Pradhan ‘Neeraj’ who in turn handed the sum to the family members of Anil Subba here today.
The NGO has further appealed others to come forward for the cause.
